Three Bridges Education Makes Strong Progress Toward Wellbeing Award for Schools

Since Easter 2025, Three Bridges Education has been actively working towards achieving the prestigious Wellbeing Award for Schools (WAS), a nationally recognised accreditation that focuses on embedding a culture of emotional wellbeing and mental health support across the whole school community.

The school is proud to report strong progress so far, with a clear action plan in place and positive engagement from staff, learners, and families. Three Bridges Education remains on track to complete the award by the end of 2025.

The Wellbeing Award for Schools, developed in partnership with the National Children’s Bureau and administered by Award Place, is designed to help schools promote positive wellbeing and ensure mental health is seen as “everybody’s business.” It supports schools in developing sustainable strategies for mental health and embedding long-term, whole-school commitment to wellbeing.

School Principal Lisa Smith commented:

“The wellbeing of our learners, staff, and wider school community is a top priority at Three Bridges Education. Working towards the Wellbeing Award has given us a focused framework to reflect on what we’re already doing well, and to take meaningful steps towards building an even stronger culture of care and support. We’re proud of the progress we’ve made so far and excited about the journey ahead.”

As the school continues its work towards the final accreditation, it remains committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone can thrive, both emotionally and academically.
