This week, Three Bridges Education celebrated the achievements of Carrie, the school’s HLTA and Wellbeing Lead, who climbed Snowdon not once but twice to raise money for The Wave Project, a local charity the school proudly works alongside.
The Wave Project supports young people by improving their mental health and wellbeing through surf therapy and ocean-based activities, making Carrie’s fundraising effort especially meaningful to the school community.
Principal Lisa Smith said:
“We are incredibly proud of Carrie’s dedication, not only to our learners here at Three Bridges but also to the wider community. Her achievement shows resilience, determination and compassion, qualities that inspire our learners and reflect the values we uphold as a school.”
Carrie’s determination and generosity have set a wonderful example for learners and colleagues alike, and her fundraising will contribute directly to the important work of The Wave Project in supporting young people’s wellbeing.
